The KTM 200 Duke is a motorcycle which redefined the low capacity performance motorcycle segment in India. It has remained a hot seller ever since it was launched, thanks to its eager acceleration and performance traits. It broke previous performance benchmarks in the 200cc segment at the time it was launched.
The KTM Duke 200 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 199cc, single-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 24.6bhp and a peak torque output of 19.2Nm. A 6-speed gearbox handles transmission duties. Acceleration from 0-60km/h takes just 3.2 seconds and it will go on to touch a top speed of 138km/h. With a mileage of around 35km/l, the baby Duke is not too low on fuel efficiency.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is the motorcycle which completely changed the market perception for Bajaj. It took Bajaj to new levels both in terms of performance as well as quality. A liquid-cooled motorcycle from India, with blistering performance was unheard of before.
The Pulsar NS200 is a street focused motorcycle, competing directly with the KTM Duke 200. The motorcycle is powered by a liquid-cooled, 199cc, single-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 23bhp and a peak torque output of 18Nm. Drive is sent to the rear wheel through a 6-speed gearbox. The engine also features Bajaj’s triple-spark technology, making it a little more fuel efficient than the Duke 200 even though it shares the same engine.
0-60km/h is done in 3.8seconds and the motorcycle will go on to touch a top speed of 136km/h.
